Glenda and Doug Roblin advised that Glenda's Mom, Marlene Lister, passed away the morning of May 8, 2020 at the age of 81. Many of the former members of both the Optimists Lancers and Cadet Lancers will remember her as she often chaperoned on parades and tours with both corps in the 1970s.

She will be placed with Glenda's Dad at a private family graveside service on Tuesday, May 12th in Barrie.

Like a plot in a movie or so-so novel, it seems no one is able to escape the impact of the pandemic virus, COVID-19. Due to the recent government and institutional responses, and overall current global situation, the Optimists Alumni Corps has postponed their California Dreamin' tour to 2021. In addition, the City of Toronto has cancelled the March 15th St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Our group wishes everyone safety and health during these unprecedented times.

Peacefully passed away on February 25, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 72. Loving husband of 36 years to Josephine. Caring and devoted father to Kristina (Yousif), Jessica (Sami) and Michele (Michael). Proud Nonno to Joseph, Mia, James, and Nicolas. Vincent will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of his sisters, brothers, family and friends. If desired, donations to the Lung Association of Canada or Princess Margaret Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
