Corps:
Toronto Optimists
Réal, or "Froggy" as he was affectionately known, arrived from Montreal in 1969. He couldn't speak a work of English, he had no money and he had no place to live; however, none of that mattered very much because Froggy was realizing his dream - he was marching in the Optimists.
He played Euphonium and was fiercely proud of the Corps. He also had a "joie de vivre" that was a joy to behold.
No one could ever be around Réal and not have a good time. He always became misty-eyed whenever he put on the Corps uniform and sang the Corps song.
