Optimists Alumni 2003/4
We are sad to inform you of the passing of Optimists Alumni, Chris Taylor.
Chris was a passionate drummer. He followed that passion and joined the Guelph Royalaires Drum & Bugle Corps. He was a talented drummer who earned the respect of his peers along with numerous recognition, including winning the 1976 World Championship. Chris always had a pair of drumsticks, and kept his passion for music throughout his life.
Chris was a member of the original Alumni experience in 2003/4 as a snare drummer. His drum corps life was spent with the Guelph Royalaires and the Oakland Crusaders where he also went on to instruct.
