Drill: Battle Cry, Patton & Drum Solo

    • this file contains a graphic of each set in the drill

    • you need to print out all of this file

  • Acrobat file showing the Individual Drill Parts

    • This Acrobat file contains the drill movements for everyone.

    • There is one page for each marching member

    • You do NOT need to print the whole file but you do need to your Performer ID for the drill (eg T3, M6, etc)

      • Look for something like "Drill: El Cid Performing as cast member: (unnamed) Label: M6". M6 would be Mellophone 6.

      • Browse through the Acrobat file and find the page that contains your part

      • From the Menu select Print and choose Current Page

      • Remember, you must already have your page showing

  • The video version which appears below is in Flash Format

  • Below the drill you will see Play, Pause and Stop buttons on the left. On the right is a volume control.

  • hit the Play button to play the video

  • Quicktime videos show in Full Screen mode. If your display size is too small you will lose some of the image.

  • Click this link to View the video in Quicktime format

    1. The video will open in a new screen

    2. the file is big so it may take time to load

    3. There will be a Grey Bar at the bottom of the drill picture

      • the first item is volume control

      • the second one is the PLAY button. click on that and the drill should be activated.

    4. If it does NOT play, I'd guess that you don't have Quicktime installed. Here's a link for a free download from the Apple website (there are MAC and Windows versions):

    6. NOTE: You do NOT need the Quicktime Pro version. The free one will play the file. If you download the file and run it (the download will be an install program), it will allow you to play the file. You might have to exit your browser and then start it again. After you've run the install program, the file should play.

 

To download a Quicktime version of the video

  • the next item point which has a round DOT has the word LINK.

    • For Windows users, right click your mouse on the word LINK and choose "Save Target As" or "Save Link As". It will give you the option of saving the file on your computer

    • If you're a MAC user, I can't help. I don't have one.
